The Manchester Hotel

The name says it all, right? Anytime I am chatting with someone who has just visited Lexington for the first time, they nearly always mention the Kentucky Castle…and who could blame them?? While it is technically in Versailles, this gorgeous 50-acre estate is only 6 minutes from Lexington’s Bluegrass airport and right on the Fayette county line, making it the perfect landing spot for visitors to Lex!

The Kentucky Castle property is exquisite (you should plan a visit even if you don’t stay here!), draped in lush Kentucky bluegrass, making it look like its straight from a scene of Outlander. Plus, the property contains a spa (complete with massages & body/facial treatments!), as well as a farm-to-table restaurant. Its rooms are bright and airy with plush features AND you can even rent out a tower suite to stay in one of the turrets! A stay at the Kentucky Castle is a complete vacation all on its own.
